Meet The Band
Andres developed his unique cutting method by working in various countries. For 8 years he worked alongside master barbers from many different backgrounds, and he can deliver impeccable results with any hair style and type. Andres loves to communicate with clients, translating their ideas and tailoring them to their personal style. His always seeks to exceed expectations and provide quality service.
Jessica started at an early age in her mother’s salon. Since moving to NYC from Arizona six years ago, she has worked around the city including LES and Williamsburg. Jessica loves being in an industry where she can continually grow and learn.
Hide began his career in 2005 in the trendy district of Daikanyama in Tokyo. After assisting some of the best stylists in Japan, he alternated between editorial and salon work. Hide moved to New York City in 2014, and he loves the creativity demanded by short and medium length haircuts.
Originally from the midwest, Chris came to New York City 17 years ago. He trained at the Aveda Institute, and began his career at Bumble and Bumble where he continued to study under their master stylists. Afterwards Chris worked at Rita Hazan and Warren Tricomi salons before becoming a session stylist.
Originally from Denver, David Rico was a Kevin Murphy educator before moving to NYC 11 years ago. With 18 years in the industry, he has mastery in hair color and shaping for both men and women. He likes to be considered a designer in many mediums.
Aleksandr started barbering in 1987 in Moscow. Returning to cosmetology school in 1999, he worked in salons in Saint Petersburg before moving to NYC in 2015. Aleksandr continued studying at Vidal Sassoon, L’Oreal, Wella and Tony and Guy academies. Aleksandr’s experience and education make him an incredibly talented and versatile haircutter.
Masako excels at long lasting haircuts using both scissors and clippers. She worked in Tokyo and Hawaii before moving to New York City. Masako prides herself on listening to your needs and personalizing the cut accordingly.
Ray started in hair when he graduated Paul Mitchell Academy 15 years ago . Since 2006 Ray worked downtown Manhattan, then in 2018 as haircutting specialist for Paul Mitchell Academy.
Matthew started in hair when he moved to New York 11 years ago. He previously worked at Vidal Sassoon, Arrojo Studio and in Miami at Snip. Matthew enjoys creating easy to style classic cuts.
Working in the hair industry for over 20 years, Benoit owned two salons and worked for L’Oreal in Nice, France. Since 2012 Benoit has been based in Brooklyn with some time spent in Los Angeles. Benoit prides himself on being a self-starter and loves working on all hair types.
Our salon is located in the best neighborhood: Boerum Hill in Brooklyn. We support local stores and restaurants, and this is a list of our favorite spots to hang out. Be sure to be seen with your new haircut in these places.
